The Small Print

The Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc wishes to provide a safe and fun experience for all participants. Please sign and date this waiver in order to participate in all our events and release the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc from all liability and agreement to indemnify and hold harmless.

I/we hereby waive, release and forever discharge the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc, its organisers, staff and volunteers, from any and all liability for any personal injuries or property damage that one or both of us may sustain as a result of, or during, participation of an event including personal injuries or property damage that I/we believe may have been sustained as a result of negligence, in whole or in part, of the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc.

I/we further agree to indemnify the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc, its organisers, staff and volunteers from any and all claims of any nature whatsoever, including, but not limited to, personal injury and property damage, by any third party or third parties, which they claim are caused, in whole or in part, as a result of any act(s) or conduct, whether unintentional, negligent, or intentional, by one or by both of us, which may occur immediately prior to, during, or immediately following event(s).

Note: The term “events” covers all activities and functions held under the name of the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc.

This membership can be refused or cancelled by a consensus of the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc committee, if it is considered that a member or prospective member, has acted, or is acting in a way likely to bring the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc into disrepute. Any training offered to minors within the membership is without endorsement or sanction of the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc. See the State Coordinator for a copy of the ‘Training of Minors Policy/Guidelines’.

Underaged members may attend events and activities coordinated by the Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc. This does not include activities undertaken by individual members or groups. We therefore insist that a guardian/parent be present at all functions and seek Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc advice should their child wish to undertake training from others.

The Tasmanian Pagan Alliance Inc. is not responsible for minors and/or other individuals. People choosing to attend events/moots may only do so by agreeing and signing the above ‘Waiver Declaration’.
